I'd been wanting to try this place since they opened and I will say it was worth it. It's difficult to find good bagels and most the chains have gone down hill. Bear's Bagels is worth the short wait. I tried a Brunch It bagel and we got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich my husband really enjoyed. The bagels are chewy and the sandwiches are great with some unique options. I will definitely be going back. My one thing is I wish they opened a bit earlier for those who work by 8, but understand this isn't always possible.
The rumors are true, and the wait in line is worth it. We got the Bears Best, the Goldielox, and a (control) toasted plain with plain. We also got the fermented hot sauce, which barely registers as spicy, but adds a really nice taste to eggs and ramen. This boost they’re getting from this most recent award and news is hopefully enough to secure their own building, which they obviously need. Until then, happy to wait in line. Easily the best bagel in Columbus.
I have lived in Columbus for 6 months and have been loving this city in every way EXCEPT I have been SEARCHING AND SEARCHING TO NO AVAIL for a decent—and I would settle for just decent—bagel in this god forsaken city. I thought I had eaten every bagel in the greater Columbus area and I was getting downright depressed until I finally made my way to Bears Bagel and AAAAAAAAHHHH AT LAST!!!! A BAGEL THAT WILL DO!! MORE THAN DO! Columbus now has everything I need. Thank you Bears Bagels. I am so grateful. But seriously, that was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, no hyperbole.

Love bears bagels!! Very friendly staff and the bagels are delicious. Aside from bagel dough having honey, the place is very vegan friendly offering some vegan menu items like a veggie bagel sandwich with avocado schmear, dairy free cream cheese, and an open faced pb&j bagel sandwich that can be easily made vegan. Their coffee is delicious too and they have great collabs like prospect jam Co. Hope they expand and open more locations in the future!
This morning I got the “Goldie Lox” and my mom got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and YUM. I absolutely loved mine- the bagel was a great texture, everything that came on it was super flavorful, overall would recommend. She said the same thing about hers as well. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try next months’ menu
Excellent bagel sandwiches!! We had the cowboy... the bacon is amazing and couple classics plain and everything and toppings. Top notch bagels. Good choices. Long line but service was great and it went fast. Plan to get it Togo, it’s a small lobby and it was completely full.
